DUNELLEN, NJ — Guardian Wear, a performance apparel brand dedicated to supporting America’s first responders, is proud to announce an official apparel partnership with the Jersey City Police Detective’s Benevolent Association. As part of the agreement, Guardian Wear has created an online shop for JCPD DBA branded shirts, jackets, polos, and more. A portion of the proceeds will support the DBA’s efforts to provide emotional and financial support for fallen officers and their families.

“We are excited to partner with an apparel company that shares the same core values as the Jersey City Police Detective’s Benevolent Association,” said JCPD DBA President Detective Ed Dolan. “By purchasing any DBA/Guardian Wear apparel, a portion of the proceeds will assist our ongoing mission to provide emotional and financial support for fallen JCPD officers and their family members.”

“We call our brand ‘American Hero Apparel’ and nobody deserves that title more than the police officers keeping us safe each and every day,” said Guardian Wear CEO Jim Daley. “We’re proud to support a great organization like the Jersey City DBA and we hope to do the same for law enforcement communities across the country.”

About Guardian Wear

Guardian Wear is dedicated to a simple mission — to create high-quality performance apparel built specifically for the American Hero Community. While most performance wear brands focus on the fads and fashions of professional athletics, Guardian Wear is built here in the USA to withstand the daily needs of our true heroes: the police officer on patrol, the firefighter rushing toward a burning building, the soldier on watch overseas, and the ems personnel saving lives at a traffic accident. Our heroes deserve a product that works as hard for them as they do for us.

About JCPD DBA

The Jersey City Police Department Detective Benevolent Association is dedicated to informing and educating the community on the many acts of heroism and sacrifices of its law enforcement officers. In so doing, they honor the families of slain law enforcement officers, as well as law enforcement officers who have distinguished themselves

through acts of bravery or merit.

The DBA’s ongoing fundraising effort is two-fold. First, funds raised will ensure benefits for its Fallen Officers Fund, which remains in place for all active members. Second, as part of its commitment to the community, they support organizations that benefit the children of Jersey City. These organizations include: Jersey City Public Schools, Special Olympics, Toys for Tots, and more.
